Kick off event 2022
With less than two months end-to-end to deliver a hybrid company conference for Bridgestone, we achieved a lot in a short space of time thanks to a clearly defined brief, smart thinking, excellent communication, brilliant teamwork and a can do attitude!
So how exactly did we create a memorable employee experience, that didn’t take itself too seriously but delivered on objectives?
Think outside the box, part 1:
we pride ourselves in the value we add to conceptually, looking beyond the obvious to present “we would never have thought of that” ideas that the whole event can be built around.
Simple ideas can be the best ideas: we trusted our instinct that making paper airplanes was on-brief for the team building exercise; it was accessible, therefore inclusive, and everyone invested in it on the day.
Define the standards:
employee engagement was a key feature of the brief, so we focused on every detail of the pre-event gift box that was sent. From the contents to how it was packed and presented to the branded mailing box itself, we wanted the finished article made a real statement on behalf of Bridgestone to their people.
Content is king:
we created emotive and impactful videos and presentations to keep our remote audience engaged and inspired, celebrating past successes and contributions as well as looking to the future.
Think outside the box, part 2:
we purposefully proposed several keynote speakers that were a bit left field yet a perfect fit. It was their story not their celebrity that was important, and the ability to align their messaging with that of the client.
Work with great people:
we see ourselves as an extension of our client’s team, so our preferred partners must seamlessly fit that mould as well. BeaconHouse Events brought the experience and technical expertise to ensure the smooth running of the day and were integral to the event’s success.
